Sauders Wins School Board Seat
The vote spread in the race for a seat on the Warsaw school board changed by one vote after yesterday’s special election. And the outcome remained the same… Chuck Sauders will replace Mark Minatel on the board. Sauders beat Sterling Watkins by six votes, even though Watkins won the precinct that voted yesterday by 66 votes.

Ninety-six people voted in the special election, which a judge ordered in that precinct after election workers put the wrong ballot in a voting booth last November. Sauders is a former principal in the school district and served on the board before he went to work for it.
