WCCS Considers High School Bldg. Study
Whitley County Consolidated Schools Superintendent Bill Carnes has asked the school board to take the first steps toward deciding whether to build a new high school.
Hear Carnes talk about the study he's suggesting and why.
Carnes says the school system should begin by hiring a consulting firm. It would look at classes the high school offers and might offer in the future. And it would look at the system’s finances, to see what it can afford and when. The board decided to meet with the consulting firm before it approves the study.
