Today is an especially good day to buckle up if you drive somewhere. That’s because police departments throughout the state began their annual
“click it or ticket” campaign yesterday. From now until June fourth, police will be pulling over people they see going down the road without a seat belt on. And in most communities, police will set up enforcement zones, in which they’ll look in every car for seat belt violations. Police promise that during the “click it or ticket” campaign, they won’t be issuing any warnings… every violation will result in a ticket.
