Board to Discuss Superintendent's Contract

We could find out tonight whether Warsaw Superintendent Dave McGuire will keep his job. McGuire’s contact is one of the items on the agenda for tonight’s school board meeting. As of July 1, McGuire will have two years remaining on his three-year contract. But last month, the board decided to look into its options regarding that contract after it delivered an evaluation to McGuire. Board members score him considerably lower on that evaluation than they did the previous year. Four new people have joined the board in the past year. McGuire has declined to comment on the issue. The board meeting begins at seven o’clock tonight.
