Defense Bill Includes Money for Warsaw Companies
The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a defense spending bill that includes money for Warsaw’s orthopedic companies. The bill provides one-point-three million dollars for Biomet, DePuy and Zimmer to study soldier recovery, readiness and quality of life in orthopedics and tissue engineering. The companies will partner with three universities and Walter Reed Army Medical Center for the research.
