Girl Found Safe at Grandmother's House

A 12-year-old girl who disappeared while visiting a festival in Columbia City has been found safe. Columbia City Police say Gail Hill turned up at a grandmother’s house. Gail’s mother reported her missing at about 11 o’clock last night when Gail failed to meet her after an evening at the Old Settler’s Days midway. Police spent all night looking for Gail without success. But at around seven o’clock this morning, a family member called police to say they located Gail at a grandmother’s house. Police never issued an Amber Alert for Gail because they never had any evidence that she was kidnapped or that she was in any danger.
