Police Arrest Robbery Suspect
North Webster and Warsaw police announced today that yesterday they arrested a suspect in armed robberies at car washes in North Webster and Warsaw. They arrested the 40-year-old man without incident at a mobile home northeast of Warsaw. The man faces preliminary charges of armed robbery. According to a news release, police expect the prosecutor to bring additional charges against the suspect after his office reviews the case. Police say they recovered a handgun that they believe was used in robberies at a Warsaw car wash last Saturday and a North Webster car wash Monday. Police are still looking for a second suspect in the crimes.
