A big fire at a Sprint warehouse on Warsaw’s west side this morning. Warsaw Fire Chief Matt Warren says it took about 50 firefighters from four departments nearly an hour and a half to control the fire… because it was difficult to get to. Warren says the fire damaged an area where Sprint stored battery chargers for its forklifts… and it caused smoke damage throughout the building. Sprint uses the warehouse to store telephone equipment. The alarm came in just before two a.m. No one was in the building at the time and no one was hurt. The Warsaw, Winona Lake, Leesburg an Atwood fire departments responded.
