ISP to use New Phone System for Missing Persons

Indiana State Police have signed up for a new telephone alert system designed to help them located missing people. That means that if a child ever disappears in your area, you might get a phone call with a special recorded message. Hear how the phone message might sound (:52). The recorded message will provide information including a description of the missing person and instructions on where to call if you have information. Unlike Amber Alerts, police can activate this new system for any missing person, regardless of the person’s age or the circumstances surrounding the disappearance. More information is available on the web site of A Child is Missing, Inc.
