Tornado Near Grissom Confirmed

It turns out that people who thought they saw a tornado near Grissom Air Reserve Base Tuesday night were right. A survey team from the National Weather Service has confirmed that an F2 tornado cut a four-mile path through part of southeastern Cass County and southwestern Miami County. It damaged or destroyed at least a dozen structures but reportedly did not cause any serious injuries.
