Delta Postpones Fort Wayne-Orlando Service

The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority has announced that Delta Airlines has indefinitely postponed plans to provide non-stop flights from Fort Wayne to Orlando. The airline announced in August that such service would begin October 10th. Passengers who have already booked a seat on one of the planned flights should contact the airline at (800) 221-1212. In a news release, the Airport Authority says it believes Delta's uncertain financial future prompted the airline's decision not to begin the new service. Delta filed for bankruptcy last week.
