Driver Seriously Injured in Huntington County Crash

A one-vehicle crash in southeastern Huntington County seriously injured the driver early this morning. It happened on State Road 105 near Country Road 1000 South at about one A-M. Police say the driver’s vehicle left the road and flipped over several times, ejecting the driver. A helicopter flew him to Fort Wayne Parkview hospital where he was listed in serious condition at last report. A news release from the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department indicates that alcohol use might have contributed to the crash.
