Fire Chief: Workers with Torches Started Big Marion Fire

Marion’s fire chief says workers using propane torches started a fire that destroyed about a fourth of a four-block factory last week. Fire Chief Steve Gorrell says the torches ignited some insulation at the former Thompson picture tube plant and that workers thought they had the fire out, but it later rekindled.
