State Issues Report on School System Rankings

The Warsaw and Manchester Community school systems have improved from academic watch status to academic progress, which is the middle category in the state’s five-tier ranking system. Other school systems in the Q101 area either stayed in the same category or slipped. Whitko, Whitley County Consolidated Schools and M-S-D of Wabash County fell from academic progress to academic watch. The Huntington County Community school system remains in the academic progress category. The Smith-Green and Wabash City School systems remained on academic watch. Statewide, 32 percent of school systems saw their rankings fall.
