Teen Says Skateboard Shoes Saved His Life

A Churubusco teenager says the thick rubber soles on his skateboarding shoes saved his life. Seventeen-year-old Tyler Fingerle is not a skaterboarder, but he likes the shoes and was wearing them last September when a fallen power line shocked him after a car crash. A cable T-V skateboarding show has interviewed Fingerle and plans to air the story tonight.
