Police Arrest Three on Cock Fighting Charges

Three northern Indiana man face felony charges this morning related to an unusual crime: cock fighting. State police have arrested a LaGrange man and two Angola men on charges of promoting animal fighting and possessing animal fighting paraphernalia. Police say a traffic stop led to a search warrant for a property in LaGrange. Police say they found more than 100 chickens there, as well as items used in cock fighting, including sharpened spurs.
