Two Drown in Southern Indiana Lakes

Drownings in separate southern Indiana lakes killed a five-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man yesterday. Police say the boy drowned after he tried to follow older children into deep water at Lake Monroe near Bloomington. The man died after diving from a cliff platform at a private recreation area near about 30 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
