Elkhart Mother Sentenced for Killing Children

An Elkhart woman who pleaded guilty to strangling her four young children last November will spend the rest of her life in prison. Yesterday, a judge gave 27-year-old Angelica Alvarez a life sentence without parole for each of the four murders. Alvarez had pleaded guilty in exchange for avoiding the death penalty.
