Farm Bureau Proposes Tax Plan

The Indiana Farm Bureau has proposed a plan to cut property taxes by about one-third by increasing sales and individual income taxes. The state’s largest farm advocacy organization says it supports increasing individual income taxes from 3.4 percent to 4.4 percent and the sales tax from 6 percent to 7 percent.
