Grand Jury to Consider Charges Against Muncie Officer

A prosecutor says he’ll let a grand jury decide whether a Muncie police officer should face charges of battery with a deadly weapon. The 52-year-old officer allegedly struck a man with his service handgun after he found the man with the officer’s 26-year-old daughter in the woman’s bedroom.
