Wabash Co. Sheriff Warns of Burglaries

The Wabash County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a rash of burglaries in the northern part of the county. Sheriff Leroy Striker says burglars have struck at nine locations since the beginning of September. Striker says most of the break-in’s happened in barns and garages that were separate from houses. Burglars have taken all-terrain vehicles, garden tractors, tool and electronics. Striker is encouraging area residents to help watch their neighbors’ properties and to report any suspicious activity.
