Car Breaks Apart After Collission with Wabash County Tree

Two people required airlift to a Fort Wayne hospital overnight after a one-car crash on a slippery Wabash County road. Police say the 25-year-old driver lost control of the car on ice on Old U-S 24 near the western Wabash County Line and crashed into a tree at about 12:40 this morning. When emergency responders arrived, they found the car in two pieces. At last report, the driver was in fair condition and doctors had not decided whether the 14-year-old passenger would require hospitalization.
