Committee Passes Amended Immigration Bill

A committee of the Indiana House of Representatives has passed an amended bill that would penalize companies that hire illegal immigrants. The committee added one-point-five million dollars in state money to help enforce the bill and removed an exemption for those who hire part-time or seasonal workers.
