Wabash County Crash Forces Evacuation

Emergency officials in Wabash County had to evacuate at least three homes overnight, after a vehicle crashed into a house and broke off the gas meter. The crash happened at 12:37 a.m. in the two thousand block of State Road 13, north of Wabash. Police say the vehicle left the scene and nobody got a look at it. By 1:45, NIPSCO had the gas shut off and evacuees returned to their homes.
