Whtiley County Declares Level 4 Snow Caution

Whitley County Emergency Management Agency director Cathy Broxton-Ball says the county has elected to warn the public concerning the recent snowfall and road conditions. Whitley County has placed the entire county under a Level 4 (White) CAUTION snow emergency level. This is not a declared emergency level and states the following:

A level 4 (White) Caution Snow Level may be activated when conditions may develop that limits or hinders travel or activities in isolated areas. No travel restrictions have been reported but citizens should be alert to changing road and weather conditions. (This is not a declared emergency, but an activation of the ordinance to alert the public of possible hazardous conditions).
