CCHS Opponents Take First Step Toward Remonstrance

People who don’t want the Whitley County Consolidated School system to build a replacement Columbia City High School filed petitions with the Whitley County Clerk’s office yesterday. The eight petitions carried an estimated 254 signatures. A remonstrance against the school building project will begin if the Clerk’s office verifies that at least 100 of the signatures are from affected property tax payers.
