Huntington Shoe Warehouse to Close

The company that operates Payless and Stride Rite shoe stores has announced plans to close its distribution center in Huntington next year. The closure will cost the city 140 jobs. Collective Brands Incorporated says it is consolidating its distribution network and moving operations to a new distribution center in Ohio and another facility in Louisville.
