Police: Heroin Found in Wabash Home, 3 Arrested

Wabash police arrested three people last night after a month-long investigation by their drug task force. Police say they found 75 packets of heroin – worth about 25-hundred dollars – when they executed a search warrant at a house on Walnut Street. The three young adults they arrested are all Wabash residents. A man and woman, both of whom are 21 years old, face preliminary charges of possession of more than three grams of heroin, dealing in heroin and maintaining a common nuisance. An 18-year-old man faces preliminary charges of possession of a hypodermic needle and maintaining a common nuisance.
