Woman Arrested in IPFW Dorm Murder
A 36-year-old Fort Wayne woman faces preliminary charges of auto theft and murder this morning, in Friday’s stabbing death in an I-P-F-W dorm. Police arrested the suspect in Indianapolis Saturday. The Allen County Coroner says 22-year-old Liette Martinez died from excessive loss of blood because of a stab wound. According to the victim’s father, before police arrested the suspect, they told the Martinez family that they were looking for a woman who is related to one of Martinez’s roommates. At last report, police were not confirming what relationship, if any, the suspect had to Martinez or her roommates, nor were they releasing information about any possible motive for the killing.
