Boy Charged in Shooting of Friend

A 12-year-old boy from the central Indiana city of Danville faces a juvenile charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon this morning for allegedly shooting a friend while showing off a gun. Police say that while the 10-year-old friend was visiting, the 12-year-old boy found a key and unlocked a safe where his parents kept an unloaded gun. Police say the 12-year-old loaded the gun and was showing it off to the other boy when it accidentally fired.
