Indy Boy, 5, Shoots, Kills Sister, 4

Indianapolis police say a 5-year-old boy took his father's semiautomatic handgun from the top shelf of a bookcase to play with it, pointed it at his sister and pulled the trigger. The four-year-old girl died at the scene yesterday. The 24-year-old father of the children was home at the time. Police say they’ll talk to prosecutors about filing neglect charges against him.
