Hilary Clinton won the Democratic Indiana presidential primary by about two percent of the vote. Jill Long Thompson won the democratic gubernatorial nomination by an even closer margin.
Incumbent Mark Souder won the Republican nomination for Third District U.S. Representative. In the Fifth District, Mary Etta Ruley won the Democratic nomination and incumbent Dan Burton won the Republican nomination.
In State Senate District 18, Randall Head won the Republican nomination.
For State Representative District 22, Larry Rensberger won the Democrat nomination and incumbent William Ruppel won the Republican nomination. In State House District 50, Daniel Leonard won the Republican nomination.
