Huntington Pursuit Ends in Damage to Squad Car, House

A brief police chase in Huntington last night led to damage to a squad car and a house. Police say an officer from the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department tried to pull a man over for a traffic violation at about 12:15 a.m. but the man refused to stop. During the pursuit that ensued, the suspect's vehicle crashed into the county squad car, a state trooper’s car and a Huntington house. No one was hurt and police had the man in custody about four minutes after the chase began.
