Puppy Attacks Infant

A Fort Wayne infant is reportedly recovering well from surgery after the family’s puppy attacked the one-month-old boy. Police say the dog severely injured the baby’s genitals. The puppy has since been euthanized. Police say the attack happened while the boy’s mother was sleeping. They say there’s no reason to suspect neglect. Animal experts say families should begin preparing their dogs before a baby comes home and they should crate the dogs any time they can’t supervise the animals.
