Souder Says Ballots Should be Printed Only in English

Third District U.S. Representative Mark Souder announced yesterday that he has cosponsored a bill that would require all ballots and balloting material used in federal elections to be printed only in English. In a news release, Souder says understanding English is fundamental to participation in our political process and, in the Congressman’s words, “if you can’t read the election ballot, how can you possibly follow the political debate?”
