Famous Indiana Pilot Dies

A Fort Wayne woman who has famous for serving as a pilot during World War II and for around-the-world air races has died. Margaret Ray Ringenberg was 87. She died of natural causes at an aviation event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin yesterday. Tom Brokaw devoted a chapter to Ringenberg in his book, "The Greatest Generation."
