LaPorte Woman Not Guilty of Baby's Killing

A jury has acquitted a woman of murder and neglect charges in the death of her newborn child. Doctors testified they couldn't say whether the baby had been born alive. The girl's body was found in 2006 in a field near the LaPorte County home of the suspect.
