Officers Struck While Trying to Stop Pursuit

Two police officers in Richmond suffered minor injuries yesterday when they were struck while setting up spikes to stop a pursuit. Police say the suspect’s pickup truck hit one of the officers and then crashed into a squad car, which struck the other officer.
