"State Highway’s been out pretty much all night trying to keep the state roads cleaned off," Wiesehan reported, "And they’re not in very good shape at this time, but they’re trying to get ahead of it. Snow drifts are starting to accumulate with some of this wind. I’d recommend that if people are going to try to venture out, to take it slow and nice and easy because the roads aren’t in very good shape."

Wabash County Sheriff Leroy Striker told The New Q101 that road conditions in his county could be a bit deceptive. "All roads appear to be passable," Striker said, "There are dry spots, scattered dry spots which give the motorists the assumption that the roadways may be clear, but they need to drive with caution."
